It's not easy making films. It's not easy making a series either. So much goes into the production of a single episode. And when the budget for the endeavor isn't up to what you would like, that makes it a little bit harder. But I don't like focusing on why something cannot be done. I like focusing on HOW it can be done. And one thing that I have discovered not only in filming the series but also in being involved in other people's or company's projects is that where there is the will there is the way. Even when the money isn't there.
Because of that I am proud to say that our series is still in the works and has gotten good reviews. And this coming Saturday, April 23 of 2016 the newly constructed series trailer will be showcased to a full theatre at the premier of the movie "The Blood Tapes" in which I took part as the character "Rayo".
I just spoke to Will Martinez one of the producers, directors, and actors in the film who said that there is a lot of very positive buzz about this flick from horror movie connoisseurs and enthusiasts who liken the film to a combination of documentary and grindhouse horror films.
Yeah it's full of violence and gore. So if you don't want your kids watching that stuff drop 'em off at the in-laws and come on over! It's going to be a big event showing the film at 6:15 and 8:15 plus a short Q & A after the second showing. So don't miss out. After this premier the only way to watch will be on VOD or Netflix and other cable sources but nothing beats the big screen!
So in the meantime, check out the lineup for what's to come on April 23:
