Here are two tease pics for upcoming episodes. The first is for Episode 3: "Face of Death". That is a tease of the teaser. That's right. The picture you see is from a teaser video we shot to promote the next episode which we will be filming this Saturday...
Press here to check out the pictures and continue update... I have gotten a lot of positive responses from people about our second episode. Although there is a very evident lack of "proper" equipment to film this series, nonetheless, the ideas and creativity abound. This is thanks to the great talent that surrounds me in the form of production people and the actors themselves. I am grateful to have them along on this project and to see that little by little they can actually see my vision and the course that I am charting for this project.
Important developments: 1) The "Season 1" script is finally completed. In total there will be nine (9) episodes of 6 to 10 minutes long. You will want to stick around for the coming episodes, it's going to be quite a ride. Especially the "season finale". I promise you will enjoy it all. 2) The goal of the series is to be submitted to various "festivals" or other competitions where we might be able to achieve a more substantial financial backing and distribution. 3) We will be prioritizing quality over quantity. This means that contrary to the initial plan of publishing an episode every week, now I have decided that I will focus on taking all the time I need for us to film, edit and publish an episode. The tentative production period, therefore, for each episode will be 2 to 3 weeks; depending on the complexity of the lines, the staging, and the editing. This only ensures that the final product of each episode will be of better quality all around. 4) I will be holding a casting call for highly capable actors or non-actors. The emphasis will be on the individual's personal beliefs and ambitions. We will interview and read off the script. This project has a future that will only be secured by working with the best. (No pressure, though :P ...). If you are interested in taking part in some way, either acting role or extra, please send me a private message. 5) I have started working on "Season 2" which, at the moment, will also consist of 9 episodes and is guaranteed to blow your mind. Thank you all who have taken any part in promoting or supporting this project in any way. I send you all my thanks and positive vibrations. We are onto something good here. Thank you for betting on us. Production for Part II of "Who Shot Me" or Episode II, which ever seems more appropriate, is underway. We had to push the shoot by a couple of days this week and so we will have the final product I think by this Saturday if not sooner. This time we will be graced with the participation of two actors whom I admire and esteem very much. One of these actors is Mr. Joseph Campos, with whom I worked on the play "Pat & Lyndon" for the Pharr Community Theatrer. Mr. Campos played the role of Robert McNamara. It was his experience and natural abilities on the stage that made everyone else's job easier. The second of these friends and collegues is Pete Mendoza. Pete and I recently participated in a movie by Mar Motion Media (MMM). Pete has an extensive acting career. He is an accomplished actor and movie action sequence choreographer. He's worked with several movie production companies, as well as with such illustrious outfits like the History channel. I am excited to have these two gentlemen and acting badasses join me on the screen.
